Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

April 04, 2020 | Written by Choccolotties

We all love a cookie, especially a warm, gooey chocolate one.

Ingredients

  • Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies – makes 8
  • 150g sugar
  • 155g plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 45g cocoa powder
  • 110g butter, room temperature
  • 50g Dark chocolate chips
  • 50g Milk chocolate, roughly chopped into chunks

Method

  • Preheat your oven to 175c/ Gas Mark 3
  • Add all the ingredients into a bowl and mix until fully combined.
  • Line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
  • Roll your cookie dough into 8 golf ball sized shapes and add 4 cookie dough balls to each baking tray, making sure they’re evenly spaced.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
  • Then enjoy as they are or with some ice cream.
